To Benefit Richland County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)

June 29, 2010
OCTOBER 13, 2010-BROOKLAND BANQUET AND CONFERENCE CENTER. Imagine living the youngest, most innocent and vulnerable years of your life being neglected or even abused by those who you depend on for love, care, safety and happiness. Unfortunately, the number of maltreated children in our community continues to increase. This year, over 900 new children will enter the child protective services system. These children will be victims of physical and sexual abuse, physical, medical, and educational neglect, and abandonment. Richland County CASA recruits, trains and supervises volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in Family Court.
